Caught 'UP' yesterday and I must say that the entire movie was simply breathtaking and heartfelt. Thou it may seem like a cheesy movie of how a couple with 2 different personalities but a common dream worked together to fulfill their goals, it was definitely more than just that.

To many, thou it seem like how the power of love could overcome all odds. It was how Carl manage to let go of what he held for the whole of his life to start a new adventure, a new journey of his life allowed this movie to be etched in my memory.

Of course, the plot was oh-so original, animation being flawless and characters being really round and squishy! ((:

Bravery and Adventurous would be something these little animated characters have that we don't.

It was awesome today. Not only that I survived on that 4hrs sleep that I did-not-know-why-i-did-that decision. I survived through AIMM lecture without dozing off. Everyone knows how AWESOME our lecturer is. ((: PLUS PLUS its FRIDAY and I'm feeling bubbly again! YES! Like finally! Let me do some self-proclaiming, haha. I'm just proud of myself! ((: Trust me, its was ultimate retardation for the past few days, I feel just as low as those girls that I was bitching about. I know its really wrong to bitch. But let me quote for you and you will understand why I say its ultimate. (:

So much for online shopping rehab! I just spent 80 bucks buying BC stuff. Jean was right, its difficult to resist buying self manufactured stuff and that 5 months of resisting was really a job well done. HAHA. I'm just comforting myself that those were good buys. HEHE. No more loots for me till the following month! Hopefully I get a job or something! Otherwise my saving plans won't work! And probably I will have to wait to December to get the first thing on my want list!

On the other hand, Mummy wishes that I was more normal. LOl. Normal as in more of a girl or something like that, you know have shopping as my favourite past time. Like the other day when I told her that I wanted to join one of those groups in Singapore to climb mountains and canoe in relatively strong currents. She didn't even hesitate and gave me a big no, saying that this is worse than flying to bkk alone. I'm just gonna wait patiently!(:

OMG! Its been high on sugar these few days! Yes I know! Its so irritating! The amount of sugar in my blood stream now is OH SO HIGH luh! LOl. But I can't help it! Sweet stuffs never fail to get me going when I need those endorphins for production! Yes, apparently I'm still sipping on my honeydew milk tea with Nata De coco and pearls. ((: AWESOME! SWEET!

Its Saturday tomorrow and there's nothing for me to go hip hip hooray about because of an exam that I have to take and pea brain of here won't be able to do its auto shut down. Its so aggravating! Its a SATURDAY mind you. Saturdays and exams DO NOT go together. I shall shut up here before everything starts getting whinny. LOl.

Its Friday night! = AWESOME NIGHT!

Cause on Friday nights you won't have to use your brain cells! LOVES! I know! I mentioned it previously in my post already! But you know! I just gotta share the joy of Friday nights! (: I shan't remind myself and continue to keep myself in denial that I will be hitting the lec notes for Saturday's test. Seriously. I think I will resort to desperate acts to get those info in. ): Probably the best is diffusion of notes.

Sushi Tei was awesome people! HAHA. I have been feasting on alot of things for the past few days, so much so I'm having a bad pimple break out (according to Taffy who just said it few minutes ago) Sigh. Feels so guilty. This week has just been chocolates, tibits and loads of other snacks to keep my itchy mouth going. LOl.

I feel really lucky that I am able to indulge in such food, I mean like to those kids that suffer in the 3rd world countries amongst us just makes me feel that I should really appreciate the little things around me. (:

Honestly, I'm proud of myself and the girls especially this week cause we manage to pull through all the tests and projects. Simply saying, I'm happy that this week is over.

Somehow I miss Joey, I miss her waking me up and eating my 'accidentally dropped rice' HAHA. She was a really good accompanion! I soo wanna have a dog next time when I grow up! Probably another jack russel! A jack russel with a brown spot on her back! Exactly like Joey!

Sorry for the hiatus!

Its been about two weeks since I wrote in a decent post! Like everyone, school has been the same old same old. Just that its passing faster than ever and quizzes and projects and due even earlier than you ever expect. Seriously, I'm thinking why lecturers are always pressing for time and speaking at a speedy-gonzali rate. Trust me, Its so fast that its ~120 slides within 2hrs! And I am so not exatrating but just to realise that the semester is gonna end soon. The aroma of HOLIDAYS is simply MAGNIFIC!

Fridays are a definite day to look forward to for almost everyone, sadly I can't say all cause I'm not sure if everyone looks forward to this day. Reasons why you should look forward!
1. Its a friday! You can just do an auto shut down of ur brain till like monday morning! HAHA. Or probably sunday night.
2. You get to go out without thinking about school tmr!
3. PLUS! You don't have to set an alarm to wake up at 7am in the morning! wahahhaha.
Thats why fridays are love!

Anyway, transformers2 and ice age 3 were awesome! It was really good. The critics can do whatever they want and sabotage transformers2. But toooo bad! Transformers have yet top the charts AGAIN. Most earnings in 2009! Ice age 3 is once again a well done work by pixar. So far, their movies have never disappoint me!

However what has left the greatest impression on me is the Night festival held by the Singapore National Museum! I mean it may sound really retarded and all. But really, even being a singaporean, I am totally amazed by what I have seen. Thou I din manage to see every single artefact, but even an essay will not be able to describe what I exprience partly due to my limited vocabulary. Sigh. Its a must go! Especially at 10.30pm! ((: Its simply amazing plus its F.R.E.E.!

News of the day: Micheal Jackson died! Ohmygawd luh! The legend of a beautiful voice plus meaningful songs and cool dance moves. So much for his comeback, his world tour. Thou I'm not a fan of his, I really pity those that lined for his tickets. (According to Tuna, pple actually q. for 2hrs for his worldtour tickets!) Sigh.

Talking about the superstar, 2 occupations came to me strong this week,
1. Security guard
2. Pilot

You know how security guards jobs always seem so meaningless and a bore? Sometimes I wonder why did they even take up the job? I mean besides for the monthly salary that they receive to support themselves. I mean I have never heard of anyone being inspired to become a security guard. Have you? But this week in particular, a security guard showed me that even a job like this has an attitude to it. The conducts to follow, thou my friends and I perceived it as irritating and funny at first, but yeah, I'm happy to know that there are such security guards who have such passion driven in them like to chase me out to get my temperature taken twice. LOl.

How about Pilots? What do you think about them? Rich? Talented? Handsome? Somehow everyone has a schema build in one's mind. On how one would perceive another when a subject is said. But what I saw of a pilot the other day boarding the bus did take my thoughts aback the other day. Sometimes I wonder if those schemas in our mind is good at all? I mean like its like the roots of sterotyping.

I need to get more sleep! Or at least don't feel drowzy once the late afternoon hits! I been sleeping approx 5 hrs for the past week, doing projects after projects. Sigh. Super brain please come to me soon! I mean I'm totally okay with sleeping for such hours but after nearly getting rammed by a car, forgetting that i took out my contacts when i already took it out and getting irritatably high during hours of the day, I think I really need to hit the sack earlier this weekends. LOl. Which I don't really think its possible. LOL.

You know how H1N1 is hitting everyone and everywhere? Somehow I'm glad that I am studying a brief about them, I mean not just knowing the layman terms that everyone knows. Thou not as knowledgable as the researchers but yep! HAPPY! ((:

On a random note, TaffyJoan has been saying I'm like some fruit salad because of the no. of fruity chemicals that I bathe with! HAHA. It may sound disgusting to many, but I love mixing my body soaps! ((: Its like to have a little of everything, Thou I love the combination of body shop strawberry + dettol mint + johnson johnson bady bath! But I cant have that! Cause mummy keeps nagging that I have to many soaps in my bathroom. Frumps! But I still have my min. 2 standards! HEHE. Shitty says I got a Solana smell but not those body odour kind! I PROMISE I DON'T HAVE ODOUR, its probably with the unlisted no. of soaps and shampoo and blah blah what not that I use. HAHAHAHAH! I'm not wierd luhhhh. ((:

I always wondered why I don't do manicures and pedicures. You know like pay to get your nails painted. Not that I am pin pointing at anyone, I think its a great deal for one to pamper yourself with such luxury but probably my nails will hardly get these. HAHA. Probably for special occasions otherwise nahh. Anyway, E-laine got me some free manicure the other day and I must say the skills to paint those 1cm long nails are really superd. Something that I can't do luh! HAHA. Plus after the cooking, washing and rough handling of stuff there goes the money. AND and I want my nails to stop growing now! So that it will remain like there forever! HAHA. I know I'm just day dreaming. LOl.

These nails are definitely gonna last me for saturday's event which I think I am gonna fret about pretty soon because I don't have some semi formal wear! Plus Jean is in Aussy fretting too! I'm super awed by Pollina Seminova! SHE IS JUST AMAZING. Trust me, I can play her videos over and over again without getting bored. She is just superd! INSPIRED. I mean like see her pirouettes, battements fouettes!! Awesome!!

I know I'm like super slow! but I finished boys before flowers! YES. I sacrifice my sleep like nobody's business to watch em. I think its a thing for me to watch a drama every holiday. Like MUST. LOl.

I can't believe the hols are just 2 weeks long. I mean like 2 weeks only! They should have hols at least 3 weeks. Than things will be more productive for me! Like travel overseas! Did I mention how much i love traveling? HAHA

Anyway, just a advice here for anyone who is anyone. Do not create saving plans during the holidays cause it doesn't work unless you have like super uber good self discipline and ground yourself at home and not go out. Because I have lost count with the amt i spent but I'm soo sure that its at least 3 digits. Super savings during school days!! I'm intending to fly again during the hols. So, YUP!

I wanna learn the different languages of the world. Communicate with everyone and backpack around the world to see the insights of the different cultures. (:

Its gonna be a week of going out again and class being every alternate day! Super motivated!! I'm not gonna let anything to prevent my body to produce the much needed endorphins, serotonins and adrenaline. ((:

So of course I went out to CELEBRATE with the girls and a trip down to chinatown which apparently been donkey years since I been there and my virgin MRT ride down to there. Somehow I guess its just human nature to syrutinize someone when you see someone else different from you. I never fail to get that during the bus 10 trips towards class. Somehow, I'm just immune to it. Immune to the eyes of attention I get from these people. But when I reflect on the weekly attention I get, I will never fail to have that flashback of the woman. That particular woman.

Just a thought, imagine you had to witness an old man suffering from down syndrome with ragged clothes would you syrutinize him or sympathise him? Or what about a middle age woman with signs of gonnerea which you know its a Sexually Transmitted Disease? Would you just syrutinize her? Even thou it may not be her fault?

FYI. I'm not emo or anything, just that whatever I'm gonna type out later its just thoughts.

You know how you have siblings and stuff like that and how normally you think you guys don't even click what more even talk? I won't deny the fact that I once actually felt that way and my actions being worse than any sibling ever. Trust me.

But what I actually found out now is that things do not actually have to be this way. I feel that only now at 18 years old, kay, more like 17 yrs old cause I haven turned 18 yet. I found a new best friend. A best friend that actually witness my growth since kindergarten. Honestly I haven thanked her enough. Thanked her for witnessing all my nonsense and reassuring my doings and pointing out my mistakes. I feel injustice for this friend of mine that noOne appreciates her and think that she is immature for her age. I was fuming mad just now, not only I got played out but I had to wait for bus 10 for like more than 30 minutes. Horrible thoughts went through my mind during that period and I shan't list em out. Cause it aint nice to begin with. (:

But what cool me down was that thou I was squeezing with the other passengers like a pack of tuna there was a lady - a mother trying to handle her 3 boys, ages 5, 8 and 10. To witness the simple decisions the mother has to make already amazed me.

Many would think that bringing up a child is prolly the same as learning how to drive a car. You read the guilds and get it done practically. But the thing is, no mother in this world is given a license to be a good mother like how a good driver is given rewards.

Celebrating mothers day to some maybe a norm or even nothing, have a dinner and prolly take family photos. But for the women who are Mothers today, mothers day do mark a significant difference in their lives.

Okay, not gonna digress further into details.
Just the bottom line that - I am awed by the mothers who take responsible for their kids.
And that I'm really thankful to have such a Mom.

Maybe the rain issn't such a bad thing? Because everyone's smile will form the best sunshine ever.

Ever wondered why movies or drama serials will have its special thing or two in a rain scenes? I mean has anyone realise that the effect that the rain created will leave a more vivid memory as compared to a bright sunny yellow day? To think about it, does dancing in the rain, kissing in the rain, crying in the rain or even standing in the rain sounds so much cooler than doing the later under the hot sun? HAHA. It was just a random thought just now.

I guess week1 has made me feel that time has really passed, with more "Hi" and "Byes" with friends that were once strangers, it seems that I have taken another step forward to the outside world. So much for being really oblivious to my surroundings. On a random note, introducing myself as a yr2 student makes it really WIERD.

Honestly I'm really scared that tuesdays will be a complete drain on me when I have lessons from 8am-7pm and class at 8.30! I wonder if the upsized did some wonders. LOl. I'm gonna get it tested it out this week! (:

Its Good friday today. I'm hungry like mad now and I'm guilty like crap. But shagged is more of an appropriate word to describe how i really feel now. My muscles are aching from all the activities I have been doing. I really wonder exactly what have I been doing except for the 20 macdonalds I carried back to school the other day. That I literally died.

I have been covered with week0 activites ever since I finish OLTC. Barely making anytime for my friends, I really feel bad now. While I was on my way to church just now, I witness the very same sight that i used to see when I board 10 to class. It just made me realise that this may just happen to anyone at any age and I'm really thankful that discrimination has not won the better. Or has it?

It has been a week for me. Staying up and not sleeping and such. Things that I chose not to say. I've learnt quite abit during my week in school and yeah to be ready for the thing I choose to call a battle! wahahhahhaha. Imagine a war between a black knights and the white knights. Who shall emerge as the winner? I think I'm just digressing off somewhere here now. LOl.

Honestly, I can't feel more rotten-er than ever. I know there issn't such a word. But yeah. I'm feel like a slum! WHY. Issn't there a better solution? How can it be even humane for her to cry. I am filled with guilt.

OH NO! I am a broke person!! Yes. I am screaming/crying out loud the word 'BROKE'. This 2 weeks expenditure has been extremely high. EXTREME!! Lol. But you know, i feel that the money was not exactly unecessary spent thou. I mean you can cancel out the outings and make me feel really really really bored and somehow my money still ends up somewhere or go out and feel that i am not just bumming around at home. I mean I do have my savings yeah. But yeah, i still wanna learn horse riding and wakeboarding and do loads of stuff!! HAHA. Probably that will be at a later date i reckon.

Watching cinderella at the esplande was quite an eye opener, I mean as a dancer myself, I was manisfesting over the lead dancers feets more than their faces. I mean I was being a critic myself. Hurrss.. Probably not good enough to be thou. Plus plus! I watched DISNEY PRINCESS ON ICE!! WAHAAHAH!! Loves. I was really amazed by how these skaters worked their ass off to give such an awesome performance! I was stunned and practically felt that i was star-struck. Kinda behave like a kid there. Oppps. I mean some of us here has seen lana being that side of her luh huh! =/ Bren, i know it must be hard to hide away when ure sitting beside a TEENAGER who kinda like disney princesses luh huh. hurrs. Honestly, I am really proud of this photo that i manage to take with my camera. And its really difficult for one to get too close to the birds without em noticing you for the fact that they have super sensitive motion detectors. LOl, i feel that i made them sound like machines.=D

Hello everyone!! =DD YesYes. Lana's back from her trip to down-under. But before i start with my rantings and whinings and bore u to death, let me warn u guys first! =D

So this time was kinda like my virgin trip to fly off alone in my 18 years of my life. Honestly! I love the expierence! I had loads of thoughts as i sat at the window seat - trust me, the amt of words i wrote as the plane took off tells that i had loads of thoughts in my mind. HAHA. =DD Mummy was really nice this time and has broke her tradition of not letting me do stuff. I know, I win already! =DD

Anyway, Bangkok's airport is really well furnished -I mean after how indonesia's airport left such a ______ impression on me.

My days there were like stretched to the max! Thou my sleeping hours were not long ( 5 hrs of sleep is little to me kayy) But i was totally satisfied with myself! =DD ChaCha and I had loads to say luh! I mean can u imagine how 2 girls can chat ABOUT 3hrs everynight. Sadly cause we are girlsss.. =DD

Shopping was AWESOME ______!! HAHAHHAHAHHA. Once again, sadly because I'm a girl and cheap stuffs cause my money to flow out like water. I'm soo not gonna buy anything in Spore for the next 6 mths!! TRY! I mean like for myself luh. Presents not counted. Seriously, You know like how Singaporeans go there and show their horrible attitude to the sellers there. -.- TOTAL TURN OFF plus they double the price when they sell it! Thats why lana's gonna save money again and go there when time and money permits me! =DD

But I wasn't there just for shopping, I wanted to see the sights of Burger king! (Haha. Only some will understand this!) HAHAHAHHAH! Went to temples and visited the grand palace! You know where all the royalities stay there. It was really an eye opener! Seriously very GRAND. Hahahaha. =DD The temples there were also really... hm, I can't find a word to put in thou. Ohya!! U know what! I was nearly late for my flight! I reached the airport 40mins before boarding! I know!! Don't give me that face! So the rules was, if u don't check in 40mins before the flight, your fare will be forfeited. -.- I was practically running from 1 side of the airport to other! like some total loser. Because I think they deserve the rain to grow to bring the colours to our life.

As i woke up from my little nap just now, i witness the start of the downpour at my place. Honestly, I enjoyed the anticipation I felt through that 10 mins of my life. The sound and the sight of the first few drops till the downpour that every farmer wished to happen. That I say is a beautiful scene of nature. =D Even as i walked home from the bus-stop. Nature has once again amazed me when i witness the sight of 2 butterflies mating. It was really sweet! =D

So, i finally got all my IT errands done. Can u imagine! My whole morning/ early afternoon. Going from tanah merah > industrial park > alexandra road > bugis. YESYES. Solana has travelled sooo much today. But I am soo not prepared to fork out the money to repair my camera. DE HONG!!!!!!!! LOL!

Somehow, somewhat, whenever when one board the bus, i guess one will actually observe one's surrounding. Apparently I did. Curses to my contacts! Okay. My left contact. Apparently I went out today with like a perfect vision on my left and some blurred images on my right brain. I have been busyyy lately. Busy with i don't know what. LOL. Anyway here's wishing all my readers happy 2009 and may u have a blessed new year!! =D (Soo formal.. buay tahan!)

Anyway, celebrating new year was at yesika's place and watching fireworks at yang's auntie hse at farrer park (near little india). I din expect farrer park had such scenary of spore! REALLY. And drinking a little alcohol(because i only drank 1percent of volka with 99% sprite which ended up tasting like 7up) to mark my 18th year! =D YES! I am proud that i am going to be 18, so i will daringly walk into an M18 movie and proudly flash my EZ link card - like how i did when the ticketer asked me for my IC when i was gonna watch some NC16 show. Sooo Irritating!! Slept over at yesika's place and DIM SUM for brunch. We wanted to have it for breakfast but some charbo cldn't wake up!! HAHA.

Met up with jean, jo and prissy just now for a really full dinner!! OMG. But it rawks luh. Good recomendation prissy!! These girls were awesome ever since like what 4 years old?! Old and wonderful memories were all brought up and how lesbianfied we were last time. LOL.

Have you ever wondered how complex we are? Not mentally or emotionally but how our physical structure that what made us who we are now? Trust me. HAH! I'm back! So is the sound of my whines of going back to school. Seriously, 2 weeks is WAY to short. Irritating! So lets backtrack a little, with Xmas yesterday and arriving on Xmas eve, i was wrapping presents till like 4am in the morning but i kinda started at 1am. HAHA. Not that i wrap slow ( Common, i worked at taka as a gift wrapper before ) but quite alot to wrap. I LOVE GIVING PRESENTS. =D

Although sometimes life may seem like a road filled with obstacles, somehow these obstacles can be easily overcome or made, we just gotta look at a different angle. Its been quite awhile since i last post. LOl. Been relatively busy, sorta. 2 weeks break ain't exactly long when u have 6 projects on hand, performance and an overseas' trip that u didn't promise to go for. LOl. But no worries, i have been quite used to it plus i was still able to squeeze out time to watch the day the earth stood still and twilight. Guess i wouldn't be watching any more movies this holidays, i think. LOl.

Anyway, after tiring school nights on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, yesterday's performance was finally done. Trust me, it was really nerve wrecking when i was on stage trying to pull off the opening dance. However dancing with the girls was really an intoxicated thing. Everyone were like on the same thing, stressing out and having fun at the same time. Even putting make up was like a important task. LOVES! Sometimes i really wish that we could always perform but the stress level of it proves another point. Oh yah!! Thank you so much girls!! Kaka, Yang, Pok, Shitty, Tuna and XinXin for complimenting me. Even with this 1hr paper tomorrow and knowing that i can't screw it up, I am soo not excited to start on it at all.
